We have urgent opening for Azure SQL Database, We are looking for candidate who have good experience on below skills set & Candidate must be ok to work 24* 7 environment.

Exp: 5 to 8 yearsSkill Set : Azure SQL Database+ Performance Tuning+ Clustering and Log Shipping + SQL on-prem to Azure+ Migration

Notice Period: immediate joiner only

Job Location: Bangalore / Noida / Mumbai / Pune/Gurgaon

Shift Time- 24*7 (rotational shift)
Skills possessed and measured:-

• Candidate must be familiar with SQL technology and various core components of SQL in order to perform the SQL DBA JOB.
• Hands on Experience in with SQL on-premises and Azure Backup strategies. Migration and assessment of SQL on-prem to Azure.
• Candidate must be already to working in 24 by 7 environment
• Must have skills around handling Migration & Database Upgrade, Log Shipping, Clustering, Performance Tuning, Performance Issues.
• Sound knowledge on troubleshooting performance issues
• Hands on Experience with writing database queries and Knowledge of database design and theories
• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools and Ola Hallengren scripts
• Familiarity and hands on experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS.
• Monitor database performance, performance tuning and implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required.
• Familiarity with database management best practices and IT security best practices
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Excellent attention to detail, with Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms.
• Good multitasking abilities
