Prerequisites:
- Good communication skills
- Experience: 5+ years
- Notice period: Immediate joiners preferred
- Location: Balewadi-Baner Road, Pune / Remote
Must-Have Skills:
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in ROR
- In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming & MVC
- Strong understanding of Ruby syntax and its nuances
- Experience working with front-end and back-end developers on projects
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4 or 5
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Ability to troubleshoot issues in implementation and debug builds
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web development
- Ability to convert requirements into data modelling and database design
- Experience in creating APIs and collaborating with App developers for integration
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
- Ability to host, migrate, and manage applications across various platforms, including shared hosting, cloud, and AWS servers
- Proficiency in unit testing websites, web applications, and integrations, as well as solving technical issues
- Ability to test functionality for both users and backend processes
- Experience in Payment Gateway Integrations for checkouts and subscriptions.
- Experience in Maps Integration
- Experience with Charts
- Experience with AWS service integrations: Push Notifications, Redis, SES, SMS services.
- Knowledge of encryption, hashing, and encoding (SES, SHA, RSA standards)
- Experience developing responsive sites and resolving browser compatibility issues
- Strong understanding of database architecture and query optimisation (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
Good to Have:
- Experience with multiple databases (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB)
- Angular JS or Node JS knowledge would be an added advantage
- Experience working with eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce etc
- Experience in handling multiple projects at the same time.
- Experience in training junior developers.
- Experience with project management tools like Jira
- Experience in client engagement on calls and emails
