Job Description
Medanta the Medicity, Gurugram, is currently hiring for the position of Medical Officer for its DLF Centers across the Delhi NCR region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide OPD and Emergency services to patients.
- Support and manage ICU patients, ensuring high standards of care.
- Perform medical procedures including intubation, catheterization, and other emergency interventions.
- Handle emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Patient transfer: Ensure safe and efficient transfer of patients in the stationed ambulance to Medanta or the nearest hospital.
- Travel between DLF Centers to Medanta locations in Chandigarh, New Delhi, or Gurugram as required.
Qualifications:
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- CTCCM (Critical Care Medicine Certification)
- Trained in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
Experience Required:
- 4-5 years of experience in a medical officer role, preferably with exposure to emergency care and ICU management.
Key Skills:
- Ability to handle ICU patients effectively.
- Experience in intubation, central line insertion, and other critical care procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Emergency handling experience and quick decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of patient transport and transfer protocols, particularly in an ambulance setting.
Location:
- Multiple locations across Delhi NCR, with travel to Medanta centers in Chandigarh, New Delhi, or Gurugram as required.
