Devops Engineer @ Prudent Insurance

Job Description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Lead to build and manage a team of DevOps

engineers to support our growing product and engineering organization. You will work directly with the CTO, Head of Engineering to understand the business needs, how the team goals align with that objective and independently execute on your objectives.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of a scalable and secure infrastructure to support prudent applications, ensuring high availability and performance
• Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues
• Working in collaboration with engineering (Head of Engineering) & security (Head of Security) teams to implement and enforce the best & secure coding practices, compliance policies
• Leading large, complex projects involving multiple engineers
• Lead, mentor and grow the DevOps team
• Be responsible for the entirety of Prudents DevOps management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• 3+ years of DevOps experience with Azure
• 1+ years of experience in team management and responsible for the overall growth of the team Experience working with HoDs and CXOs on business strategy Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure and software applications
• Hands on cloud concepts, Azure architecture and services
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines

Other Relevant Qualifications

Certification in Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage
