Join our clients dynamic news startup as a journalist, where candidate will have the exciting opportunity to cover a wide range of stories, conduct investigative research, and contribute to the creation of compelling news content. As a journalist, you will be at the forefront of reporting on current events, ensuring that our audience is informed, engaged, and enlightened. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research and interviews to gather information for news stories. Write clear, accurate, and engaging news articles across various topics. Stay informed about current events, trends, and developments in assigned beats. Collaborate with editors and other team members to refine and enhance content. Adapt to different storytelling formats, including online, print, and multimedia. Requirements Strong journalistic writing skills with a portfolio of published work. Ability to craft compelling and informative narratives. Familiarity with digital media platforms and social media trends. Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of media law and ethical considerations in journalism. Nice to Have Previous experience with multimedia storytelling, including photo and video production. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing tools. Understanding of SEO best practices for online content. Experience with data journalism and visualization tools Education Pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
