Work Timings: This opportunity is for a US-based project and requires working remotely during US business hours (Night Shifts IST).
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM Technical Consultant with 7 to 15 years of experience in SAP EWM Implementation and Support projects, including ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and integration expertise along with a deep understanding of warehouse management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and propose SAP EWM-based solutions
- Configure and customize the SAP EWM module as per client-specific needs
- Implement and support Decentralized Warehouse Management and SAP EWM Best Practices
- Strong experience in EWM processes:
- Inbound, Outbound, Internal Processing
- Replenishment, Kitting, Physical Inventory
- Cross-line putaway, Yard Management, Shipping Cockpit
- HU Management, Hazardous Materials, Value-added Services
- Integration experience with SAP modules: MM, SD, PP, QM, WM, PM, and additionally with TM, GTS, HCM, EHS
- Hands-on knowledge of EWM Master Data and Warehouse Monitor
- Integration with RF Devices, RFID, Barcode, Label Printing, Storage Units
- Work on custom development, enhancement objects, function modules, and DB tables
- Experience with PPF-based action configuration, BRF+ framework, and output determination
- Exposure to SAP Fiori apps, Crystal Reports, semi-system guided work
- Integration and deployment of eSOA-enabled services
- Experience in post-Go-Live support, change management, ticket resolution, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with functional consultants and client stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions
- Exposure to migration tools, Pick-by-Voice, Labor Demand Planning (added advantage)
- Willingness to travel for short-term project assignments if required
Must-Have Skills:
- SAP EWM Technical Configuration & Customization
- Deep knowledge of EWM warehouse processes and RF integration
- EWM integration with ECC/S4HANA
- PPF, BRF+, SAP Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
- Object-oriented ABAP / Enhancements / BAPIs / BADIs
- Good understanding of S/4HANA platforms (1809, 1909, 2020, and above)
Good to Have:
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP
- Experience working in AMS/Support environment
- Familiarity with Fiori-based warehouse solutions
- Knowledge of EWM-TM and EWM-GTS integration
