Pharmacist, Manipal Hospital - Old HAL Road

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Manipal Hospitals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering outstanding patient care.
 

Prepare and dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions and hospital policies.
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.
- Monitor patient drug therapies for safety, efficacy, and adherence to medication regimens.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and assist in the management of chronic diseases.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, drug interactions, and new therapies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols.
- Participate in clinical rounds, formulary management, and special projects as needed.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of pharmacy interns and technicians.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and manage inventory effectively.

Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
- Valid Pharmacy License in Karnataka (KSPC Registration).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
