Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Event Management (EM) Technical Consultant to support our global customer in AMS and Production Support environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP EM, integrations, and technical troubleshooting across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in SAP Event Management (EM) configuration and technical setup.
- Set up and manage Event Handlers, define Rule Sets, and configure Tracking ID Mapping.
- Expertise in IDOC integration (Inbound & Outbound) and qRFC monitoring/management.
- Experience in RFC configuration, CIF integration, and system connectivity.
- Integration experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP TM, and SAP EWM.
- Develop and troubleshoot custom Event Message enhancements, Enhancement Spots, and WRICEF objects.
- Proficiency in BAPI, BADI, User Exits, and ABAP debugging for EM-related issues.
- Good understanding of SQL, capable of creating HANA queries/views to support EM requirements.
- Configure unexpected events, and build monitoring dashboards for real-time tracking.
- Handle AMS projects, change requests, enhancements, and production support tickets.
- Work using ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
- Familiar with Transport Management System and S/4HANA versions: 1809, 1909, 2020, and beyond.
