Job Description
Review product requirements, engineering specs to develop automation test plans and strategy
Mentoring fellow engineers on testing concepts, frameworks, strategies, and coverage.
Work closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Managers and Technical Leaders to develop the best technical design and approach for testing our functionality at scale.
Constantly evaluate and refine QA processes/methodologies and enforce them within all teams involved
Perform code analysis and look for ways to improve test coverage
Adhere to the coding standards in the Industry/Organization.
Develop testing frameworks, testing tools, API tests, integration tests, performance tests, stress tests, functional, and End to End automation test suites
Implement CI -CD pipeline for the existing and new projects in the organization.
Define, measure and report on coverage metrics and test objectives
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience with automation testing
2+ years of experience of working in an agile team that uses Scrum or Kanban is mandatory
Mastery of one or more of the following programming languages including but not limited to Java, C/C++, Python
Good Understanding of Data structure & Algorithm
Experienced in providing solutions using Design patterns
Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to work successfully in a fast-paced environment aimed at delivering builds on time
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must have experience in test automation, agile testing, continuous integration, functional testing API testing
Good understanding of testing principles: Functional/Regression testing, Code coverage, TDD/BDD.
Experienced in design and implementation of test scripts, test data & UI testing of web services
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber etc
Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG, Junit, Pytest or related tools
Experience with version control system like Git is preferred
Good understanding of cloud service like AWS
Good knowledge on Non-functional testing like Performance & security Testing.
Experienced in CI/CD development process and methodology
