Job Vacancy: Software Test Engineer

TETCOS is hiring Manual Software Test Engineers to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Software Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role is responsible for validating software functionality by developing and executing manual test cases. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality product releases that meet our customers' needs.

Candidate Profile:

• Diploma candidates only (preferably in Computer, IT, or Electronics fields)
• S.S.L.C / 10th Std: 80% and above
• P.U.C / 12th Std: 80% and above (if applicable)
• Basic understanding of networking protocols
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to testing environments

Job Description:

• Execute manual test cases for different features within the NetSim environment
• Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
• Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test case documents
• Verify protocol behavior (e.g., 5G, IoT, MANET) through simulation analysis
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Analyze simulation results and validate correctness
• Maintain test documentation and support process improvements
• Assist in automation efforts (optional/add-on)
