- Job Title: Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Location: Hyderabad, India Position Overview: As the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the software development lifecycle, from concept through to deployment and maintenance. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the companys business goals. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing software development team. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Project Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end software development process, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Technical Vision: Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for software solutions. Ensure the use of best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, coding standards, and security protocols. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other executives, product managers, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, including resource allocation, vendor management, and cost optimization. Ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges. Implement robust processes for managing technical debt, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining data security. Innovation and R&D: Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies. Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the technology team. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in technology management or software development are a plus. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing large-scale software projects and leading technical teams. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and technology stacks relevant to the companys needs. Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and modern development frameworks is essential. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, while managing conflicts and driving performance. Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and navigate complex technical challenges.
