Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst / Senior Business Consultant with 10-15 years of experience in Medical Imaging, including expertise in DICOM, VNA, PACS, and Radiology Workflows. This senior role requires you to work closely with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, define business needs, and prioritize product features that align with strategic goals in the healthcare domain. You will play a key role in improving radiology workflows, driving interoperability, and ensuring solutions meet the evolving needs of medical imaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with industry standards for medical imaging and radiology workflows.
- Medical Imaging Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of DICOM, VNA, PACS, and radiology workflows to define clear business requirements and ensure solutions are tailored to meet healthcare business needs.
- Product Backlog Management: Work with product managers and business teams to prioritize and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business value, ROI, and user needs in the medical imaging space.
- Agile Practices: Apply agile methodologies to capture business requirements, supporting the iterative delivery of features and continuous improvement of solutions.
- Feature Definition & Documentation: Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, epics, and feature specifications for medical imaging systems and related solutions.
- Value Assessment & Prioritization: Assess the business value of features and functionalities, prioritize user stories, and ensure that work aligns with strategic business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding of business requirements and priorities.
- Solution Design & Testing: Assist in designing solutions that meet business needs, help develop test plans, and ensure successful implementation and deployment of medical imaging products.
- Business Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in radiology workflows, image storage (VNA), and interoperability, and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage and balance the expectations of various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience as a business analyst or in a consulting role, with a focus on Medical Imaging, including expertise in DICOM, VNA, PACS, and radiology workflows.
- Agile Methodology: Strong understanding and experience applying agile methodologies for project management and business analysis.
- Medical Imaging Knowledge: Extensive experience with DICOM, PACS, VNA, and the intricacies of radiology workflows.
- Business Acumen: Proven ability to assess and define business value in the context of medical imaging and radiology, ensuring alignment with business and strategic goals.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on identifying challenges in medical imaging systems and workflows.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate business needs, technical requirements, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, driving consensus and ensuring project success.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Cloud Knowledge (optional): Experience with cloud-based solutions, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a plus but not required.
- Medical Imaging System Integration: Expertise in integrating PACS, VNA, and other medical imaging systems within a healthcare infrastructure.
- Process Improvement: Proven experience identifying inefficiencies within radiology workflows and recommending solutions to optimize operations and improve patient care.
