Job Description: As a Part-time Software Developer, you will work closely with our development team to create, maintain, and improve software tools used for recruitment purposes. Your primary focus will be on developing applications that improve the recruitment workflow, automate tasks, and enhance user experiences. This position requires in-office work, where youll have the opportunity to collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications tailored to the recruitment industry.
- Work closely with other developers to implement new features and functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Perform software testing to ensure quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure smooth performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, preferably in a part-time or flexible capacity.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Familiarity with database management and query languages (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience in developing web-based applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in the recruitment or HR tech industry is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
