Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Collaborate with the senior developer to implement best practices in dashboard design and data storytelling.
- Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and blending from various sources (SQL, Excel, flat files, etc.).
- Optimize dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Conduct unit testing and support UAT to ensure the quality and accuracy of Tableau outputs.
- Assist in dashboard version control, documentation, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Proactively identify areas for dashboard improvements or automation.
- Ability to interact with client and client facing roles.
- Good knowledge of English
External Skills And Expertise
- 58 years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization techniques and understanding of user-centric design.
- Good command of SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Understanding of data modeling, data blending, and LOD calculations.
- Familiarity with dashboard performance tuning, data extracts vs live connections.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
