Job Description

We're seeking a talented Mid-Level Back-End Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. This role is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge back-end projects and contribute to the growth. If you have a solid background in back-end development, particularly with cloud-based infrastructure, and are eager to collaborate on diverse applications in a team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Back-End Development: Build and maintain robust back-end features for our applications using NodeJS and NestJS. Work with AWS infrastructure, including Lambdas, OpenSearch, Terraform, MongoDB Atlas, S3 buckets, and Weaviate databases.
• Integration: Integrate external services such as Stripe, Zoom, and Auth0, as well as our internal analytics lambdas, to enhance application functionalities.
• Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with UX designers to ensure back-end capabilities align with proposed features. Occasionally participate in technical calls to assess vendors and their products.
• Agile Environment: Actively contribute to our agile development process, participating in code reviews and providing valuable input for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in NodeJS, NestJS, and experience with AWS services (Lambdas, OpenSearch, Terraform).
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas, S3 buckets, and Weaviate databases.
• Familiarity with integrating external services (Stripe, Zoom, Auth0).
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
