Job Description
- Knowledge of the Company and Clients Safety and Health Programs
- Assist in the completion and maintenance of the Accident Prevention Plan.
- Ensure the Quality/Safety Process Implementation
- Assist the Project Superintendent in the project site-specific safety orientation.
- Assist in the development and review of Activity Hazard Analysis.
- Conduct project safety audits.
- Conduct accident and/or near miss investigations.
- Assist in monitoring of subcontractor safety performance.
- Assist the Project Manager in the implementation of the Safety Management Protocols
- Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office (especially in MsWord, MsExcel)
- At least 10-12 year Work experience or internship in the construction industry is required
- A Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health required; NEBOSH certified
Job Summary
The Safety officer/Manager required for Hydro Power Project in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. The Safety Engineer would supporting the Project Manager and project team in the successful completion of a construction project. This position is responsible for planning and implementation of safety regulations at the specific project site. The tasks would also include to assist the project team in planning, monitoring work activities, and achieving correction of unsafe acts or conditions.
