Job Description
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students in need of additional support, focusing on academic skills, social-emotional development, and behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with the classroom teachers to identify students' strengths, needs, and areas requiring additional support.
- Create and implement tailored lesson plans and teaching materials that address the specific learning needs of students.
- Track students' progress and provide regular feedback to parents, guardians, and other stakeholders.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and engagement.
- Provide support to students with special educational needs, adapting lesson plans and materials as required.
- Assess and monitor students performance through regular testing, observations, and informal assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' academic progress and behavioral data.
- Participate in school-wide meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and specialists to develop and implement interventions for students who require additional assistance.
