Job Description
- Job Purpose To monitor and execute all maintenance activities of wool combing division in the defined standards of time, cost, safety, and sustainability so that machine availability is maximized for highest level of quality output. Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context & Job Challenges Modification work for better performance Cost effective maintenance by vendor developments Quality material output from machine Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 Preventive Maintenance Planning for routine cleaning of machines Setting of hands to do PM jobs Identify abnormalities & resolve the same Cross checking of the jobs done to ensure proper hand over of m/c for production. Maintaining the targeted MTTR and MTBR for all m/c KRA2 Cost control To increase spare parts life and replacement of spares as per schedule To check & control wrong settings of machines if any To develop local vendors for cost reduction than imported in case of non-critical items KRA3 Quality Assurance To deliver right quality of products from machines KRA4 Manpower Management To control hands specially OT by reducing breakdown To provide training on machine knowledge and practical demonstration at shop floor To educate on safety aspects in order to avoid accident. KRA5 Inventory control Reducing inventory for regular consumables by minimizing breakdowns and increasing life of spares For SOH items, it is to be procured on time as per budget/schedule KRA6 Basic condition improvement Machines to be maintained free from abnormalities, leakages etc. To maintain proper 5-S of spares in racks/ almirah/ maintenance room KRA7 Safety & Sustainability Ensuring application of LOTO while any machine is taken for maintenance TBT (tool box talk) is conducted to create more safety awareness Proper monitoring for not to misuse compressed air, power, steam, water,
