Job Description

Software Requirements:

Proficiency in V+/Mainframes development

Strong knowledge of CMS and FAS modules

Experience with development and unit testing

Familiarity with mainframe tools and technologies

Overall Responsibilities:

Perform development and unit testing independently with minimal guidance

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Conduct walk-throughs independently with customers and internal teams for development and design-related activities

Backup the team lead during their absence

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Technical Skills:

Mainframes Development:

Strong proficiency in V+/Mainframes development

Extensive knowledge of CMS and FAS modules

Development and Testing:

Ability to perform development and unit testing independently

Familiarity with mainframe tools and technologies

Mentoring and Leadership:

Experience mentoring junior team members

Ability to provide technical guidance and support

Communication and Collaboration:

Strong communication skills for conducting walk-throughs and liaising with customers and internal teams

Experience:

4+ years experience in V+/Mainframes development

Strong background in CMS and FAS modules

Experience in mentoring and leadership roles

Day-to-Day Activities:

Perform development and unit testing of mainframe applications

Mentor junior team members and provide technical support

Conduct walk-throughs with customers and internal teams for development and design-related activities

Backup the team lead during their absence

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Proven experience in V+/Mainframes development with a focus on CMS and FAS modules

Soft Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Leadership and mentoring skills
