Job Description
-
Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Ensure optimal use of resourcesmanpower, machinery, and materialsfor maximum productivity.
-
Monitor KPIs like production efficiency, downtime, yield, and machine utilization.
-
Develop and implement production plans aligned with customer demand and delivery schedules.
-
Ensure timely execution of manufacturing activities in line with quality and quantity requirements.
-
Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams for timely availability of materials.
-
Enforce quality control standards and ensure production processes meet ISO/IPC/ESD or other relevant standards.
-
Monitor and reduce product rejections, rework, and customer complaints.
-
Collaborate with QA/QC teams for audits, inspections, and certifications.
-
Lead, mentor, and manage production supervisors, engineers, and operators.
-
Ensure workforce productivity, training, and adherence to operational SOPs.
-
Drive employee engagement, skill development, and safety awareness programs.
-
Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
-
Ensure plant infrastructure and utilities (power, HVAC, ESD controls, etc.) are functioning optimally.

Implement and monitor safety protocols in compliance with statutory and internal safety policies.

Drive initiatives to maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.
-
Ensure compliance with environmental and EHS regulations.
-
Manage plant budgets, operating costs, and cost-saving initiatives.
-
Control waste, optimize inventory, and reduce production overheads.
-
Lead process improvement initiatives (like Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM).
-
Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve workflow and efficiency.
-
Introduce automation and digital manufacturing practices where applicable.
-
Liaise with senior management and other departments (Design, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, HR).

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and plant performance reviews.
-
Contribute to strategic planning and implementation of new production lines or technologies.
-
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics or Electrical MBA will be an added advantage.
-
Experience: 15+ years in electronics /electrical products manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of SMT, PCB assembly, testing, and electronic components.
-
Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and automation.
-
Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and production planning tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Analytical mindset and ability to drive process improvements.
-
High adaptability and a proactive problem-solver.
