The Opportunity: An exceptional career opportunity for innovative, committed, and forward-looking individual to create transformational value in sourcing of metal. The ideal candidate will lead the sourcing function with a strategic focus on optimizing procurement, identifying reliable MHP sources in overseas markets, and managing the existing vendor base. They will be responsible for procuring raw materials as per BP consumption requirements, sourcing alternative raw materials in alignment with approved BP, and securing long-term contracts to ensure supply stability. A strong emphasis will be placed on governance and compliance, ensuring adherence to sourcing policies while leveraging cutting-edge technology and digitalization to enhance efficiency. The candidate will drive cost savings by optimizing logistics and implementing strategic procurement processes, using data-driven insights for informed decision-making. Additionally, they will develop sourcing strategies, assess business risks, and refine policies and processes to enhance operational efficiency. A key responsibility will be grooming and developing future sourcing leaders while driving automation by benchmarking global best practices, market trends, and analytics. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate be an engineer with an MBA and having minimum 8-10 years of experience in the Sourcing function (international sourcing experience is preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to lead innovation and technical excellence.
