Job Description
- Purpose Of The Role To support the Zonal Manager by ensuring financial control across zones and acting as a liaison between TML and dealerships. This role oversees the budgeting and monitoring of receivables and fixed expenses for sales and marketing at a PAN-India level, including MIS, variance analysis, reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Receivable Management: oManage and maintain dealer receivable MIS within the region. oOversee credit extensions to dealers based on approved documentation. oMonitor dealer collections as per schedule and initiate corrective actions. oProvide guidance on receivable management. oGenerate daily receivable MIS. (Measure: Timely response to issues) oObtain quarterly no-dues certificates from dealers. oEnsure timely settlement of dealer claims with validated supporting documents. oAnalyze expenses and implement corrective actions. (Measure: Timely response to issues) Dealer Interaction: oAnalyze dealership profitability. oAct as the primary contact for finance-related dealership issues. oTrain new dealerships on TML processes. oSupport resolution of open issues with dealerships. (Measure: Timely response to dealers) Expense, Cash Flow, and Cost Optimization: oManage and budget fixed marketing and other expenses at the PAN-India level. oImprove cash flow by ensuring timely receivables and controlling credit billing. oIdentify cost-saving opportunities and propose innovative solutions. Business Support, Risk Management, and Channel Profitability: oSupport financial approvals, sales processes, and ensure regulatory compliance. oEvaluate processes for risks and implement controls through automation or enhanced reviews. oAnalyze and monitor channel partner profitability. Stakeholder Profiles & Nature Of Interactions Internal: oGM - Credit and Commercial Controller: Coordinate budgeting, monitoring, and control of receivables and expenses. oTMLBSL Team: Oversee transitioned work and ensure timely dealer claim settlements and compliance with audit requirements. oLegal / Internal Audit: Provide consultation and resolve issues. External: oChannel Partners (Dealerships): Perform profitability analysis, facilitate claim settlements, provide training, conduct quarterly reconciliations, and resolve financial issues. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Cost Accountant. Desired Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years in business finance within Automobile OEM, Aviation, or Heavy Industries. Necessary Knowledge: Financial management, cost control, business acumen, stakeholder management, effective communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Desired Industry and Sectors: Automobile, FMCG, or other OEMs. Skills & Competencies Strong financial and cost management skills. Business acumen and decision-making abilities. Effective stakeholder management and communication. Advanced analytical and budgeting skills. Ability to develop and recommend creditworthiness assessments. Proficiency in data handling for MIS and reporting,
