Job Overview We are seeking a Senior Logistics Buyer to join our team located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a full-time position that requires an individual with extensive experience in vendor selection, last-mile delivery, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing our supply chain efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards with proven experience in procurement and contracting within the transportation industry. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field. Qualifications And Skills Extensive experience in vendor selection (Mandatory skill) with strong analytical skills to assess vendors" capabilities and reliability. Proven expertise in managing last-mile delivery (Mandatory skill) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. Skilled in contract negotiation with the ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Proficient in route optimization techniques to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs. Experience in performance monitoring to track and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of vendors and delivery processes. Strong vendor management skills to build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and service providers. Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to logistics and supply chain management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. Roles And Responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential vendors to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and conditions while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Implement route optimization strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce transportation costs. Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon standards and take corrective actions as necessary. Coordinate with internal teams to align logistics operations with overall business objectives and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to logistics and supply chain activities. Manage last-mile delivery operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.,
