Test Lead (Manual Automation)Position: Test Lead

Employment Type: Full-timeJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Test Lead with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various testing methodologies, have expertise in managing test teams, and possess hands-on experience with tools. You will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, ensuring quality at every stage, and working closely with developers and other stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of testers (manual and automation) in delivering high-quality software.
Design, develop, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for both manual and automated testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Conduct functional, regression, performance, and cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack.
Identify, report, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for issue resolution.
Implement and maintain automation frameworks to ensure efficient test coverage.
Mentor and guide team members, providing technical assistance and promoting best practices.
Ensure the continuous improvement of testing processes and techniques.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.
Skills and QualificationsExperience: 5-6 years in software testing with a strong background in both manual and automation testing.
Automation Tools: Experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation tools.
Browser Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with BrowserStack or similar cross-browser testing platforms.
Manual Testing: Strong skills in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in one or more languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Test Management: Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management platforms.
Leadership: Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of testers.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into DevOps processes.
Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
