Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Design and implement database schemas, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, and deployment. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in PHP development and incorporate them into projects when relevant. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications. Proficiency in PHP, including object-oriented programming (OOP). Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services. Understanding of security best practices, including data protection and threat mitigation. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps tools. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
