Job Description
Position: Civil Engineer
Department: Engineering & Construction
Education : B. Tech / Diploma - Civil
Experience: 3+ years in civil engineering, preferably in Solar EPC projects
Salary : 4-8 LPA + Food Allowance + Transportation +Accommodation
Location : Karnataka, Maharashtra
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and solar EPC projects.
Experience in foundation design, geotechnical analysis, and site development.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Office, and project management tools.
Understanding of concrete, steel structures, and soil testing procedures.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Site Planning & Execution
- Oversee civil construction acvies for solar power plants, including foundation
works, roads, drainage, fencing, and mounting structures.
- Ensure land grading, soil stabilization, and site leveling are executed as per project
requirements.
- Supervise the installation of RCC foundations, pile foundations, and ballast systems
for solar panels.
- Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical teams, and structural engineers for site
development.
2. Structural & Foundation Design Support
- Review and interpret structural and foundation designs to ensure accuracy and
feasibility.
- Verify load calculations, wind resistance, and seismic stability of mounting
structures.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality control in material selection and
construction techniques.
3. Coordination & Project Management
- Work closely with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, and Contractors to ensure
smooth execution.
- Plan and monitor civil work schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with contractor agreements, work orders, and project budgets.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to civil construction.
4. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to IS codes, BIS standards, and local building regulations.
- Maintain HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols at the construction site.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, material consumption reports, and
quality checklists.
