Veritas NetBackup/Consultant Specialist @ Hsbc

Job Description

• Responsible for NetBackup and Appliances, Installation, deployment, configuration, and migrations.
• Should be responsible for configuration, management, and maintenance of NetBackup Physical, Virtual and Flex appliances.
• Responsible of backup solution administration with Veritas NetBackup 9.x and higher, Dell Data Domain operations, and Veritas Flex appliances
• Perform regular Data Recovery Tests and Disaster Recovery procedures.
• Plan and perform regular maintenance tasks such as software version upgrades, firmware updates, migrations and hardware diagnostics of NetBackup appliances and other Backup Infrastructure.
• Migration and evergreening of existing and old NetBackup Appliances (physical, Virtual and Flex) to latest versions and models.
• Maintain Backup Infrastructure to mitigate security vulnerabilities and meet organizational standards
