Summary


A combined Customer & Tech Support role bridges the gap between technical systems and user experience. Its about being the voice of the company to the customer and the voice of the customer to the company, while actively solving both routine and complex issues.

Skills required.

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, chat, or ticketing systems.
  • Understand customer needs, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues (software, hardware, connectivity, etc.).
  • Use technical knowledge to walk customers through problem-solving steps.
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of company products/services.
  • Educate customers on product usage, features, and best practices.
  • Assist in setup, installation, or configuration if needed.
  • Identify trends in customer issues to suggest product improvements or training needs.
  • Monitor and report performance metrics (e.g., response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction).
  • Stay updated on product updates, bug fixes, and new releases.
  • Combine strong interpersonal skills with technical expertise.
  • Handle frustrated users with patience and clarity.
  • Translate complex technical jargon into simple language for non-technical users.
