Junior Software Engineer @ Westzone Software

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. You will be involved in designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable software solutions under the guidance of senior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of software applications
  
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and product managers
  
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot software issues
  
• Participate in code reviews and continuous learning
  
• Maintain proper documentation of code and systems
  
• Follow agile development practices

Required Skills:

• Good understanding of OOP concepts
  
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python / Java / JavaScript / C#
  
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for frontend (preferred)
  
• Familiarity with SQL / NoSQL databases
  
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git)
  
• Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills
  
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with frameworks like React / Django / Spring Boot / Node.js
  
• Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and JSON
  
• Exposure to DevOps / CI-CD tools
  
• Completed internships or real-time projects
