Job Description

Department: Vehicle Testing Department Industry: Automotive Location: Ondipudur, Coimbatore Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred Education: Diploma / ITI in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil service, wheel bearing replacement, and headlight bulb replacement. Carry out vehicle modifications to accommodate client-specific sensors, test equipment, and logging devices, including: Installing camera sensors (surround view and forward-facing). Mounting radar sensors (5 sensors). Setting up display/monitor systems inside the cabin. Installing and configuring reference test equipment. Enabling power on/off options for the test setup. Providing power supply connections for logging devices (laptops, storage devices). Conduct pre-test inspections and ensure all modifications are securely in place before vehicle testing. Assist engineers in vehicle testing, data logging, and troubleshooting. Maintain documentation of all modifications, test setups, and observations during testing. Have basic knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and its features. Required Skills: Hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and servicing. Ability to install and calibrate sensors and test equipment. Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and power supply management. Familiarity with ADAS technologies and their functions. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
