Job description Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales Location: Surat Company: Cowberry Industries Pvt Ltd Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee our e-commerce and outlet sales operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust knowledge of NPOP (National Programme for Organic Production) and NOP (National Organic Program) standards for organic commodities handling. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing sales teams, and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction across both online and offline channels. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for both eCommerce and outlet sales. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures. Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth across all channels. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. Provide training and development to sales staff, focusing on enhancing their product knowledge and sales skills. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. eCommerce Sales Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce sales platform. Optimize online sales processes and enhance the customer shopping experience. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute online promotional campaigns. Outlet Sales Management: Manage the operations of physical outlet sales, ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation. Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. Ensure proper stock management and inventory control at all outlets. Organic Commodities Handling: Ensure compliance with NPOP and NOP standards for organic commodities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of organic product regulations and industry best practices. Train sales staff on the importance of organic standards and how to handle organic products properly. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Gather customer feedback and use it to improve products and services. Qualifications: Must have experience of 3-5 years in the retail industry. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus. Proven experience in sales management, with a focus on eCommerce and outlet sales in the retail industry. In-depth knowledge of NPOP and NOP organic commodities handling standards. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Proficiency in using sales management software and eCommerce platforms.
