Job Description
- As a Finance Intern, you will become a valued and integral member within the India MCAPS finance team (Business finance- Finance Planning and Analysis). You will work on a variety of projects that directly impact the business, such as building financial models and forecasts, simulate based on trends, track revenue KPIs, tracking spend across projects, Your manager will work with you to ensure your projects are meaningful and relevant based on your interests and development needs. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside members of the Business Finance Team to deliver recommendations on key projects. Responsibilities Work on projects that directly impact the business. Contributes to the analysis of present and future financial performance of various products, segments, or other businesses. Assists more upper-level team members to conduct analysis and research studies of financial plans, acquisition activity, and future opportunities. Assists in the execution of the annual business planning and forecasting process. Gathers insight and contributes to analysis and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Contributes insights for financial plans, variance analysis, resource optimization, investments, key performance indicators (KPIs), long-range planning, and driving margin accountability. Manages and executes processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Assembles and summarizes data through data mining and business intelligence to structure reports and financial models for decision support. Leverages statistical analyses, predictive analytics, and financial modeling techniques to conduct sophisticated analyses. Acts as subject matter expert for data management and operations. Understands the history of data procurement, location, methods, issues, and actions taken. Communicates recurring and ad-hoc results in a logical and understandable message. Qualifications Capabilities & Skills: Strong Oral and Written communication Strong analytical acumen for intelligent insights Detail Oriented: The ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents, on the computer, and/or in other work products. This includes being able to code, file, compile, transcribe, classify, and/or track details from a variety of different sources/problems/issues. Tech oriented- leveraging tools for automating reports and models Required/minimum qualifications: CA Intermediate completion; 12- 18 months of articleship period remaining to be completed Additional or preferred qualifications : Proficiency in MS Office suite, Power BI and Professional And Social Development Opportunities Enjoy many professional and social development opportunities.
