Why This Job Matters:

The People Leadership Development Specialist plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and managing people leadership development products and interventions across BT Group, owning the end-to-end journey from defining through to design, deployment and iteration of products or as part of larger deliverables.

A strong focus on customer centricity is essential for this role, to ensure that all people leadership development products address business challenges and drive sustainable value for BT Group. Leverages expertise in behavioural and capability development, alongside deep insights into current theory, best practices, and research, to design and deliver impactful learning products that drive performance and create meaningful shifts in capability.


Skills and Experience You ll Need:

  • Expert at designing and developing learning interventions using best practice methods, including digital solutions, to create efficient and effective learning experience

  • Defines, measures and interprets learning impact in relation to the organisation s performance objectives or expectations using a range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies

  • Familiar with behavioural science and behavioural change management

  • Inclusively identifies, develops, and retains talented employees to support the effectiveness of the organisation as a whole. Facilitating activities and opportunities that get the best out of talented employee

  • Helps employees gain and develop leadership competencies and prepares them for management and leadership roles within an organisation

  • Manages projects by dividing tasks into short phases of work (known as sprints) and frequently reassess and adapt plans

  • Handles a project or portfolio of projects as they progress through the typical stages of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution and closure
