Provide floor support to coders during transitions to ensure quality standards are maintained during the ramp-up period.
Conduct focused trainings for quality improvement based on error findings.
Publish monthly articles/updates on healthcare to enhance coders' knowledge and expertise.
Ensure timely completion of onboarding and compliance trainings for new hires as per global and client requirements.
Participate in client calls, meetings, and knowledge transfer (KT) sessions as required.
Lead training sessions on current updates in the medical coding field for U.S.-based healthcare systems.
Train coders on U.S. healthcare systems and updates as per protocol.
Create presentations and develop learning materials, handbooks, and other required training content.
Job Specification:
In-depth knowledge of coding processes, coding system software, and workflow management.
Basic understanding of medical terminology, body systems/anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
Must have coding certification such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA.
Any graduate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Evaluation and Management (EM) medical coding.
Training, coaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
