Job Description

The Distribution Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining, and growing the resort chain's distribution platforms, including Online Travel Agencies (OTA), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), the company website, and call centers. This role also oversees Central Reservation Systems (CRS) and Customer Data Management to ensure seamless operations and maximize revenue.


Distribution Platform Management:

1 Oversee and optimize distribution channels including but not limited to OTA, GDS, website, and call center.

2 Ensure consistent and accurate availability and pricing across all platforms.

3 Develop and implement strategies to increase visibility and bookings through various channels.

CRS Systems Management:

4 Manage and maintain the Central Reservation System (CRS) to ensure efficient booking processes.

5 Ensure CRS data integrity and accuracy.

6 Coordinate with IT and other departments to resolve any system issues promptly.

Customer Data Management:

7 Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of customer data.

8 Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

9 Utilize customer data to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experience.

Collaboration and Coordination:

10 Work closely with the revenue management team to align distribution strategies with revenue goals.

11 Coordinate with marketing, sales, and IT departments to ensure cohesive operations.

12 Negotiate with third-party vendors and partners to secure favorable terms.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

13 Monitor and analyze the performance of distribution channels.

14 Prepare and present regular reports on distribution metrics and revenue impact.

15 Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in CRS, OTA, GDS, and data management systems.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
