Job Description

The Credit Analyst position will focus on evaluating and analyzing a borrowers credit profile to determine a decision on the loan. The day to day will focus on assessing the risk on a borrowers application, credit, experience in the field, and assessing the asset/property. Its an extremely important position within IFC to manage the risk as we originate loans.

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze credit reports, experience, entity documentation, liquidity, and appraisals.
• Understand and Apply guidelines and matrices to maintain compliance
• Decision loans based on the overall credit profile.
• Understand the economics of a loan based on leverage and profitability metrics
• Understand the loan cycle
• Work with Account Managers to condition loans

Preferred candidate profile

Educational:

• Bachelors degree
• Finance or Economics

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working internally with the operation AND sales teams.
• Analytical and Critical thinking
