Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in gathering and documenting requirements for SaaS products, and a deep understanding of software development processes. The ideal candidate will excel in capturing and documenting customer requirements, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and ensuring clear documentation of software functionalities. This role requires proficiency in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and the ability to manage project workflows within JIRA.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize the implementation of requirements into the existing product.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and user stories.
- Utilize JIRA and Confluence to manage project backlogs, sprint planning, and documentation.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze and document software functionalities and workflows to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Conduct UAT tests for the functionalities developed
- Coordinate with UI/UX team for visual designs
Requirements:
- Masters in Business Administration/ Bachelors in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects, preferably SaaS solutions
- Knowledge of modern design aspects of web-based business applications.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and software architecture concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or Agile (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).
- Experience with other project management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development frameworks and technologies.
