Job Description
Job Title: Dedicated Home Tutor for Special Needs Child (NIOS Curriculum)
About the Child:
We are seeking a compassionate and patient home tutor for our bright and engaging 8-year-old son. He has partial Cerebral Palsy (CP) and requires tailored support to achieve his academic goals. We are committed to providing him with the best possible educational experience and are looking for a tutor who shares this vision.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring at our home, focusing on the NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) curriculum.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that cater to the child's specific learning needs and pace.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and independence.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods and resources to engage the child and make learning enjoyable.
- Monitor and track the child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents.
- Prepare the child for Open School exams as per the NIOS curriculum.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding the child's academic development and any challenges encountered.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the child's individual needs.
- Basic understanding of the NIOS curriculum is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- No prior teaching experience is required; freshers are welcome to apply.
- Women Preferred.
- Ability to commit to Monday to Saturday, 4-5 hours per day.
