Position: Zonal Manager North (Modern Trade)
Location: North India
Experience: 10-12 years
Industry: Kitchen appliances / Electrical / Electronics / Luggage.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth:
o Drive sales and revenue growth for Modern Trade channels in the North
Zone.
o Identify and onboard new Modern Trade partners, ensuring strong business
relationships.
Account Management & Expansion:
o Manage relationships with key retail chains, modern trade outlets, and large-
format stores.
o Drive sell-in and sell-out strategies, ensuring product availability and
visibility.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
o Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with organizational
goals.
o Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to
optimize sales plans.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
o Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Key Account Executives,
and Promoters.
o Provide training, guidance, and performance tracking to ensure high
productivity.
Marketing & Promotions:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and
in-store branding.
o Ensure compliance with trade promotions and customer engagement activities.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
o Monitor sales performance, track key KPIs, and provide regular reports to
senior management.
o Ensure efficient inventory management, pricing, and product placement at
partner outlets.
Key Requirements:


10-12 years of experience in Modern Trade Sales in Home Appliances, Consumer
Durables, or FMCG.
Strong relationships with key retailers and modern trade chains in the North Zone.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage large-scale operations and handle multiple stakeholders.
