Responsibilities:
The Finance Cloud Functional Specialist is responsible for Requirement gathering, configurations, CRPs, End-user training and Liaison in cloud implementation and support projects. ERP finance module functional expertise, and client interfacing skills are essential for this role.
Requirement:
- Drive requirement gathering, Fit-Gap, Solution Design, Build, CRP, SIT, UAT, Cutover/Go-Live and post-production support.
- Strong proven experience with General Ledger, Budgetary Control along with their configurations.
- Sound Knowledge on Budget creations, budget check flows, Control Budgets and Encumbrance Accounting.
- Ability to Enter Budgets in Spreadsheet ADFDI
- Basic knowledge on Budgetary Control Analysis Reports and Tables
- Ability to handle accounting configurations based on the business requirements.
- Sound Knowledge on Budget Calendars/Future Periods
- Should single handedly configure the Budgetary Control configurations.
- Good Knowledge of AP, AR, Cash Management.
- Ability to understand the business requirement and functional specification documents
- Should have been involved in Design sessions, requirements gathering as part of the implementation.
- Capture customer business requirements and translate requirements into solutioning that fit within customers business environment and business objectives.
- Conduct POCs, map client requirements to base product functionality, effort estimation, etc.
- Accountable for review and delivery of functional design documents, technical designs and configuration workbooks
- Must have knowledge of documentation including BRD, MD50, BR100, Test cases etc. using OUM or any other methodology.
Desired Skills/Good to have:
- Detailed business process knowledge across the Finance domain including Accounting, Procure to Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis, Fixed Assets, Treasury and Cash Reconciliation
- Should be familiar with Budget Check flow through other modules like PPM, Procurement, Inventory.
- Should have very extensive knowledge on understanding Budget check errors, accounting errors and ability to solve.
- Good accounting knowledge including Sub Ledgers, Closures, Consolidation, Budgeting, Costing, Management Reporting, IFRS etc.
- Experience in implementing multi-org/country solutions
- Expertise in supporting Testing, Defects Analysis, and Defect Fixes
- Good communication skills and should be capable to directly interact with client
- Basic knowledge of SQL, BI/OTBI Reporting tools
- Must have knowledge on Finance Data Conversions
