Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our cloud infrastructure, including monitoring system performance, ensuring system security, and troubleshooting issues. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud applications, services, and underlying infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and troubleshoot cloud-related issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Collaborate with Azure DevOps Engineer to integrate remediation recommendations into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze and prioritize remediation efforts with different stakeholders based on risk and impact.
- Report on vulnerabilities status and trends to different stakeholders in the organization.
- Participate in Enterprise Vulnerability and Remediation status calls to provide weekly updates on the remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Engineers, and Application Support staff on any 0-zero vulnerability remediations.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks.
- Work closely with development, security, and IT teams to support application deployments, resolve issues, and improve workflows.
- Participate in an On Call coverage for after hours and weekends support.
Tools Knowledge
- Service-Now
- Qualys (Beginner)
- Azure Service Health
- Azure DevOps, GIT and Jenkins
Technical Knowledge
- Total experience should be 12+ years or more in IT or in Security space
- At least 5+ experience on Azure
- Hands-on knowledge about RedHat and Windows
- Good hands on with Ansible, Terraform and PowerShell
- Experience with running reports in Service-Now
- Experience with vulnerability and compliance management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using Excel
Additional Requirements
- Associate should be able to support on-call at least once a week
- Associate should be able to support and work during US Business Hours
- Associate must follow US Business Holiday schedule
