Job Description
SUMMARY- Engage with retail walk-in customers, interior designers, and architects to assist with product selection and close sales orders.
- Utilize software and excel to create selections and quotations, and follow up with customers.
- Generate leads and meet or exceed sales goals.
- Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understand and promote company programs and obtain deposits and balance of payment from clients.
- Visit clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services and maintain client records.
- Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Requirements
- Product knowledge in the building materials industry (can be trained if the candidate has basic knowledge).
- Strong English and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and calculation knowledge for making quotations.
