- Logistics Executive:
- Oversees end-to-end logistics operations, from procurement to final product delivery.
- Negotiates and manages relationships with logistics service providers.
- Develops and maintains strong partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
- Implements and enhances logistics procedures and policies.
- Supervises a dedicated logistics team.
- Responsible for the distribution, movement, and storage of a company's supplies.
- Oversees the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer.
- May plan and oversee the whole logistics process or work in part of the chain.
- May take responsibility for the warehouse.
- Manages stock levels, vehicle routes, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Coordinates and controls the order cycle.
- Deals with delivery issues.
- Analyzes performance reports and develops plans for improvements.
- Manages and motivates staff.
- Liaises and negotiates with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs.

Specific Logistics Functions:
Shipment Management:
Compiling carrier and route assignments.
Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments.
Ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
Inventory Management:
Managing warehouse inventory and keeping records.
Managing stock levels.
Transportation Management:
Selecting carriers for transportation.
Negotiating rates and contracts with carriers.
Managing vehicle routes and delivery times.
Supply Chain Management:
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
Implementing and enhancing logistics procedures and policies.
Developing new or alternative supply strategies.
Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Analyzing data, identifying problems, and developing solutions.
- Communication Skills: Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Negotiation Skills: Negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and suppliers.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Graduate or higher
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations
- 3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience and regulations knowledge
- Basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Knowledge of Surface /Air/Marine shipments handling and regulations preferred
- customs clearance experience is highly desirable
- Negotiate with Warehousing vendors/Logistics vendors/and work out the costs as per the requirements .
