Developer Associate - for SCP Data Protection Cloud Services

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

?Data Privacy Engineering Services? team works on one of the most strategic topics in SAP which is the Data Privacy and Protection by implementing the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) in SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Foundry (SCP CF)
European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) ? a regulation intended to strengthen the protection of personal data for individuals within the European Union (EU). The GDPR came into full effect on May 25th, 2018, replacing the existing data protection directive 95/46/EC with a wider scope and increased penalties for non-compliance which is 4% of overall revenue of a company

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Understand the concept of GDPR reuse services under overall DPP Suite (Data Privacy Integration, Business Context Manager, Personal Data Manager, Retention Manager, Consent Repository, SCP Information Lifecycle Management etc) and become an expert in Data Privacy and Protection in Cloud Foundry
• You will be part of our product development organization. As a software developer, you need to analyze, design, develop and support the cloud services with advanced programming practices.
• You will be required to work in a scrum and agile development team and participate in design and architectural discussions with other engineers and architects. Collaborate effectively with a team of enthusiastic developers and stakeholders to deliver the cloud solutions is necessary.
• You will be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, automation, quality assurance for service/applications being developed.
• You need to take up full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely together with other team members to ensure the team success. Enhance skills beyond own core development focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• University Degree (B.E or equivalent) in Computer Science or related engineering subject
• Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies
• Excellent development and design skills
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, JEE, Java Script, Ajax, JSON, UI5, REST/ODATA and any Relation Database (HANA, MySQL)
• Good problem-solving skills
• Passionate about learning new Products & Technology
• Ability to work in highly agile team

Following additional skills would be an advantage:

• Cloud Foundry, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), Node JS, SpringBoot, CAP, Olingo
• API Management solution and Integration Technology.
• Test Driven Development - TDD/BDD methodology
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts

WORK EXPERIENCE

• 2- 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Contributed in Design (architecture) and development of application and platform solutions
