Job Description:
We are seeking a Data Science Manager with 3 5 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning. The ideal candidate will lead and manage all data science initiatives across company, ranging from algorithm development for air quality sensors to geospatial mapping projects. If youre passionate about using data to tackle real-world environmental challenges and want to be at the intersection of clean-tech and AI, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of data science projects at Company.
Design and develop calibration and correction algorithms for air quality sensor data.
Apply machine learning techniques to improve data accuracy, anomaly detection, and forecasting models.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and R&D teams to integrate ML models into production systems.
Analyze large-scale environmental datasets to derive insights for internal and client-facing projects.
Work on geospatial data analytics (GIS) for mapping air pollution, odor dispersion, and hotspot analysis.
Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
Prepare technical documentation, research papers, and present findings to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in AI/ML and environmental monitoring
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
3 5 years of professional experience in a data science role.
Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy,etc).
Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation.
Ability to design and deploy models in a cloud or embedded environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Passion for environmental sustainability and clean-tech.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in air quality monitoring, environmental sensor datasets, or dispersion modeling.
Proven ability to work with time-series data, sensor data, and geospatial data processing
