What Youll Be Doing

• Team Leadership & Management
• Manage and support a professional team consisting of 3 Backend Engineers, 1 DevOps

Engineer, 2 QA Specialists

• Provide technical leadership, performance feedback, and career development.
• Partner with Frontend Engineering and Product Owners to ensure cohesive delivery.
• Translate strategic priorities into day-to-day plans and delegate effectively.
• Technical Problem Solving
• Identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organisational challenges.
• Make decisions guided by policies, resource planning, and strategic objectives.

Influence the wider team by promoting engineering best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing professional software development teams.

Strong backend development experience (ideally in Java, Python, Node.js, or similar stacks).

Familiarity with DevOps practices and QA methodologies.

Track record of delivering high-quality software on time and within scope.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsable to influence both technical and non
technical stakeholders.

Experience in project/resource planning and contributing to organisational objectives.
