Mr. A. M. Naik is Chairman Emeritus of Larsen & Toubro Limited, one of Indias most respected conglomerates, a Company he has served for nearly 6 decades. Additionally, Mr. Naik is the Chairman of L&T Employees Trust, and he also serves as the Honorary Consul General of Denmark. He is widely credited with sharpening the Companys focus on key, high-value businesses. In his personal capacity, Mr. Naik has over the past few years increasingly devoted time to philanthropy. His service to nation, industry and society has secured high national recognition, including the Padma Vibhushan in 2019, the Padma Bhushan in 2009 and a host of awards from industry bodies, academia and the media.
In 2009, as part of his private philanthropic initiatives, Mr. Naik set up two trusts to promote causes that have always been close to his heart. The Nirali Memorial Medical Trust focuses on extending modern healthcare to the needy. The Naik Charitable Trust helps in propagating education and skill-building.
Job Purpose: Executive Assistant- CSR to Chairman Emeritus, Mr. A M Naik Providing comprehensive support to Mr. Naik in his endeavors of personal philanthropy ~INR 1000 crores in the field of education, healthcare and skill-development initiatives and L&T Public Charitable Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Philanthropy: Represent the Chairman Emeritus office as a part of all project teams for philanthropic projects. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, planning, coordination and management of Board and Executive Committee review meetings with respect to on-going projects of Nirali Cancer Hospital and Nirali Multi-specialty Hospital at Navsari, A M Naik School, Powai, Kharel Educational Complex, and others. Take care of all statutory and audit filings of the Trusts.
Communications: Responsible for all documentation and content for the publication of Mr. Naiks philanthropic initiatives. Work on content, speeches and briefing of GoI Committee meetings/ media interactions/ public forums by Mr. Naik with respect to his philanthropy, skill-development and nation-building.
Experience:
4 to 8 Years with minimum 3-4 Yrs experience in CSR Field.
Excellent executive presence, competent in people skills, high impact communication and presentation skills
Should Exhibit high degrees of accountability and dependability.
Should have attention to details, critical thinking, and high level of result orientation.
