Our client is a global company in the fintech sector that is formed as a JV between two world leaders one, a global giant in the derivatives space and second, a world leader in financial research and analytics.
The Job
We are looking for DevOps Engineer with 3-5 years of experience and a solid background in Java to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance our CI/CD processes, automate workflows, and ensure smooth deployment of our applications in the post-trade environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for Java applications.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline application deployment and improve performance.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
- Help automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Implement best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Support cloud infrastructure management (GCP, AWS).
- Work with Kubernetes (K8s, ARGO) for container orchestration and management.
- Participate in on-call support and incident response as needed.
Your Profile
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
- Proficiency in Java and familiarity with related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes (K8s).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
