Position : Environmental Manager
Qualification : Govt recognized PG Degree / Degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science
Total Experience : 10 years
Experience in UG Metro Project : 05 years
Job Description:
- Preparing Project Environmental Plan, Aspect -Impact Plan for the site, Environmental Protection and Impact Mitigation plan incorporating / implementing all action plan needed in site for successful implementation of Integrated Management System.
- Reviewing monthly Environmental activity schedule for Site. Arranging resources with other department for inspection. Reviewing observation report for all Inspection, communicating recommendation to the concern department.
- Participating in Method Statement Preparation, giving recommendation for Safe Operation in methodology.
- Preparing Tree transplantation Plan & Tree cutting and plantation Plan.
- Monitoring of trees and sapling to ensure the numbers and growth.
- Participating in Client side Environmental activity like Client Environmental Meeting, Clients Environmental Audit. Following up on Environmental Observation and closure of NC.
- Reviewing Environmental Performances and Submitting necessary reports pertaining to Environmental Plans
- Making review of Environmental Performance indicator like noise measurement, illumination measurement, Air Quality Monitoring etc. and taking necessary action to improve the Environmental performance.
- Preparing Environment monitoring plan and making necessary arrangement to conduct the same.
- Reviewing Training needs and planning for Internal and External training.
- Preparing Legal and Statutory Register for Site, reviewing implementation of Legal and Statutory Requirement.
- Reviewing Environmental Aspect-impact documents for activity/ material used and make revision in case of necessity.
- Participating in Internal Audit and following up for closure of Observation or NC.
- Conduct investigation on Environmental incident for finding the root cause, communicate Preventive action for the same to the project team and HQ.
