Job Description
We are looking for a n Emerging Talent & Careers Senior Business Programs Specialist based in Gurgaon to combine their passion for emerging talent and program development/ management to build market leading experiences for our program participants. In this role, you will:
Working as part of our global Emerging Talent & Careers Programs team you will contribute to the design, build and implementation of our Intern, Graduate and Career Discovery & Exploration Programs. You will partner closely with our global team in the U S and UK and lead our programs in APAC (currently in Gurgaon and Bangalore ) .
- Deliver an excellent employee experience to Emerging Talent hires in the APAC region , consider ing the program participant and learning journey in everything you do
- Partner with global Programs team members to design , plan and deliver the annual I nternship Program , Expedia Group Graduate Program (EGGP) and other programs as required , supporting pre/ onboarding , orientation and ongoing program delivery
- Organi z e and deliver an engaging calendar of events that can include skills sessions, learning and development workshops, leadership talks, panels, intern project showcase s and social events , lead ing on APAC delivery
- Build effective relationships and provide pastoral care to program participants through quarterly 1:1 meetings and adhoc support throughout programs to ensure the best possible experience
- Educate and support hiring managers, deliver training and becoming a trusted subject matter expert to help answer questions and signpost to relevant teams where needed
- Lead on nuanced or undefined business-critical workstreams as required in p artner ship with key stakeholders , managing projects from ideation to execution and aligning on topics such as program design and implementation
- Own and drive global team project workstreams as required eg. campus season readiness and preparation , business demand collection, new market research etc. in addition to day-to-day deliverables
- Partner with the APAC Recruitment Manager and local team to build the brand of Emerging Talent & Careers, working with key local leadership and stakeholders as required ; organize events for program participants during senior leadership visits to the APAC region
- Build and demonstrate market insights and knowledge by proactively attending relevant events and staying up to date with the emerging talent/early careers market, using learnings to suggest ideas for innovation and continuous improvement
- Ensure robust data tracking across all programs, identifying insights and trends and storytelling through data
- Proactively problem solve and suggest new ways of working to improve impact
- Work collaboratively, putting the goals of the team and business first, embodying Expedia Groups Mission, Purpose & Values and c hampion inclusion and belonging, putting it at the heart of the program experience
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven experience and knowledge in e merging t alent /early careers, a good knowledge of the market and a strong understanding of what makes a successful emerging talent program and development experience.
- Great teammate who takes pride in their work while persisting and being re silient through challenges, taking personal responsibility for searching out and resolving any challenges that you face
- Proven excellent collaboration and teamwork skills and enjoy working with others , ideally with experience of working in a global team
- Excellent program management skills and can take the lead on global projects, bringing others together to deliver what s needed.
- Proven organizer who can confidently prioritize the day to day to achieve your goal and have excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience being adaptable in changing and evolving situations and work environments; you act quickly, even if it means going outside of your comfort zone because you love to learn
- Comfortable with ambiguity and are excited by chances to define and build something from nothing
- Eagerness to build what is next while focusing on simplicity in the process of getting there
- Demonstrate optimism every day and show a strong desire to succeed and thrive while keeping a positive attitude
- Confident in partnering with and influencing senior business stakeholders.
